While I went further into the idea of a murder mystery calendar, I wanted to create a community with my project because most murder mystery games are played with friends and family but don’t directly tie in a community online of others. I began developing an idea of how using an online community could also play into the game but also help with the progression of the game.I started by configuring the plan that each month, the subscriber would go online to a chat room and have the chance to speak with others on how to help move forward in the case in a way that other departments communicate with others when a big case arises. The game would follow a case where a girl is murdered, and the deeper you go, the harder it becomes to find the killer. Once you talk to people online, you fill out a form provided online. This form would ask you questions to understand where your head is in the case. This data is combined to give multiple outcomes for the case based on what you think. You have to get into the right threads of the online community, or else your thought process and view on the case could be compromised, just like in a real-life case.
